Upgrading

If you have already registered a previous version, you need only $9.95 to upgrade to version 4.0. Click here for upgrading.

Upgrading from a previous version is very easy, please do the following:

1. Uninstall Typing Assistant of the previous version. After uninstalled, the Auto-Learn, Auto-Expand, Auto-Clipboard and Auto-Launch dictionary files(AutoLearn.lib, Shorthand.lib, etc) will be reserved automatically which can be reused in the new version.

2. Install Typing Assistant of the new version, then copy the dictionary files manually from the old installed directory "...\Typing Assistant\Lib\", paste and replace the same files in the new installed directory "...\Typing Assistant\Lib\".


Notice
If your OS is Windows Vista, generally the user-defined dictionary files are not stored at Typing Assistant installing directory, but at the directory below:

C:\Users\{your user name}\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Typing Assistant *.*
