Upgrading
If you have already registered a previous version, you need only $9.95 to upgrade to Typing Assistant 5. Click here for upgrading.
Upgrading from a previous version is very easy, please do the following:
Upgrade from 5.0 or higher
1. Export all Typing Assistant dictionaries to a single file(*.ta) from "Custom Settings --> Dictionaries --> Export", then uninstall Typing Assistant previous version.
2. Install Typing Assistant new version, then import the dictionary file(*.ta) from "Custom Settings --> Dictionaries --> Import".

Upgrade from 4.x or lower
1. Uninstall Typing Assistant previous version. After uninstalled, the Auto-Learn, Auto-Expand, Auto-Clipboard and Auto-Launch dictionary files(AutoLearn.lib, Shorthand.lib, etc) will be reserved automatically which can be reused in the new version. To see where those dictionary files are stored, please visit FAQ >> No.12
2. Install Typing Assistant new version, then import the dictionary files(*.lib) from "Custom Settings --> Dictionaries --> Import".

Notice
- The Auto-Expand dictionary file is named as "Shorthand.lib" before version 5.4.
- During the upgrading process, you can only import the dictionary files. Other Typing Assistant settings can't be imported. You should set it manually.
- You can delete the old dictionary files after finished the upgrading.
