Auto-Expand

Typing Assistant can Auto-Expand shorthand to full text. Just try it now:

Enter the shorthand usa, and press Enter to Auto-Complete it:

Press the hotkey Alt + Left (arrow key), you can browse the Auto-Expand dictionary and choose an entry to auto-complete:

Press the hotkey Alt + Left (arrow key), then press Right (arrow key), you can quickly Delete / Edit / Add Auto-Expand entry.

Notes:

After you press Alt + Left (arrow key) to browse the Auto-Expand dictionary, you can even type letters to filter the entries by shorthand.
Typing Assistant can expand your shorthand to whole paragraphs.
